Latrines for Life (Cambodia)
Apr 06, 2021
Latrines For Life supports a sanitation project in rural Cambodia that is coordinated in collaboration with a local Cambodia NGO. Families there are in urgent need of latrines in order to improve the health and hygiene of their rural communities. They receive a donated latrine, hand washing station and water filter for clean drinking water. The recipient families make a small monetary investment and commit to digging and building the actual enclosure and roof. Good sanitation is essential for structuring a healthy and vibrant community, and empower it's members to improve their quality of life. Latrines For Life is a program of the Encinitas based non-profit organization, Class-ACT. Grant sources include local Rotary clubs and District 5340. Neils Lund's email is nlund@latrinesforlife.org, and this is the Latrines for Life website. |
