Military families decorated pumpkins provided by our Rotary.
Several Rotarians donated candy for the party and delivered it to Karen for the military children. Deployment Readiness Coordinator (DRC) Crystal Gates also needed pumpkins for the families to decorate as a fun craft. Due to a recent pumpkin blight, this fruit became hard to find. Karen tracked down an excellent crop of styrofoam pumpkins. Both pumpkins and candy were delivered to DRC Gates for the military. With these items, everyone had a "spooktacular" time at the Marine Aircraft Group (MAG) 39 Trunk or Treat
DRC Gates displayed the candy while Karen Utley and Jen Weeks showed off the pumpkins.
DRC Gates pulled together the event that included costumes, decorated trunks of candy, and pumpkin carving/decorating.
The decorations and costumes were amazingly creative! Lots of Fun!
