Jacqueline Alvarez, a FHS SOM, told the audience about her plans to be a Psychologist.

Rotarians Paula Shilts and Don Weeks attended the event at the North Coast Church. After an invocation by Daniel Andrus of St. Peter's Catholic Community, the Marines of MAG-39 led the pledge of allegiance and presented the students with their medals.

Pastor Greg Coppock announced this month’s students: Dru Calloway, Jacqueline Alvarez, and Regina Jesus from Fallbrook High School.  Ivy High School SOM, Araceli Gomez, was not present for her award.

Dru Calloway's parents stood proudly by his side as he wins his award. Dru, who wants to be a football athlete or firefighter, plans to attend SDSU.  (Second Photo) Teacher Troy Everhart talked about Dru as an exemplary student.

With FHS Principal Dr. Narciso Iglesias standing behind her, Teacher Marin Pinnell discussed Regina Jesus’ accomplishments. Regina, who stands with her mother, plans to study business, engineering or nursing.

Ivy High School SOM, Araceli Gomez, was not available for the presentation. Ivy High School Principal Michael Gray and her teacher, Cory Boice, came onstage to accept on her behalf.

Our Rotary is happy to sponsor this event for these hardworking students!
