Our Local County Sheriffs provide the amazing students with medals.
 
Outstanding students received honors today by Fallbrook Substation’s Lt. Aldo Hernandez, Deputy Botl, and Deputy Rodriguez. This monthly Student of the Month was presented by a FUHS volunteers who work with teachers who have nominated hardworking students. North Coast Church hosted the event with Emcee Crystal Gates and invocation by Pastor Osborn.Fallbrook Union and Oasis High celebrated four scholars who excelled at their schools this month.
 


 

  • Teacher Greg Keener brought his student onstage with family and talked about schoolwork getting back on track. Once a truant missing school who wanted to quit; this cheerful student now lives with an aunt and has college plans to obtain on Psychology degree.
  • A dual-emersion scholar, presented by Teacher Alydia Han, maintains a 3.5 average while taking courses in both English and Spanish. Imagine trying to take on AP Chemistry is another language? This athlete; who participates in track & field, cross country, and soccer; plans to study Criminal Justice and become an attorney.
  • Although an October leg surgery kept her on the sidelines, this athlete rolled her wheelchair into stadium to cheer for Warrior’s football. This enthusiastic soccer player and ASB Athletic Commissioner maintained a 4.0 average despite her injury. She impressed both the nominating Teacher Alana Milton and the ASB teacher.
  • A Camp Pendleton Lifeguard and surfer impressed Teacher Alydia Han by handling Teacher Assistant duties in the Student Counseling office. This TA also takes Palomar EMT classes, plans to study Public Health and is a future anesthesiologist.

Many members of the community attended the event to applaud the students including our Fallbrook Village Rotary. Congratulations to these diligent students and their families!
