The Fallbrook Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot  is a fun family event. On Thanksgiving morning, participants come together for community fundraising while feeling good and creating memories of a lifetime.  Families and their dogs join in the 5K stroll. Our Rotary goal is to raise funds for the Fallbrook Land Conservancy, Fallbrook Animal Sanctuary and the Fallbrook Community(s).

Rotarian Erica Williams (red shirt/grey jacked) organizes this event to support the Fallbrook Animal Sanctuary. In this picture, you can see the Rotary President Karen Utley (blue jacket) helping with arrangements.

For several months prior to the pageant, the contestants gather sponsorships, work on their public speaking, interview skills, writing, as well as makeup and dress attire for various occasions. Each contestant chooses a platform that they are passionate about and will share this the evening of the pageant.

A new Miss Fallbrook / Teen and her court are crowned at the pageant.  Miss Fallbrook, Miss Teen Fallbrook and her princesses earn scholarships. Fallbrook Village Rotary uses the proceeds from the pageant to support the local community.
At Arts in the Park, the Fallbrook Village Rotary provides a delicious BBQ with hot dogs, burgers, chips, fruit, salad and cold drinks. Working with Major Market and Ace Party Rentals, Rotary sets up food, ice chests and BBQs at Live Oak Park during the event. All the proceeds are provided to Fallbrook's Rally for Children.
Rotarians Paula Shilts, Melinda Stone and Karen Utley display their work gloves at the BBQ.
